Last Thursday, the GC Café happened in Fukushima International Association and participants talked about the holidays in English. One of the guests was from the Philippines so it was nice to hear what kinds of different holidays she spends back at home.

Then on Saturday, February 15th, the GC Café event took place in Minamisoma. For the morning presentation, Diana Lyne Java was the guest speaker. She talked about the Philippines and even taught us words in Tagalog. For the English Communication Course in the afternoon, it was a very international event where a lot of foreign residents came to participate and everyone had a good time speaking English.

I hope to see everyone again in March at the next GC Café event!
