毎回人気の福島県国際交流協会の国際交流員ダニエルさんによる「ダニエルズデー」！今回は特別企画、バーベキューをしながらニュージーランドの文化を学ぼう！を開催します。
さらに、先住民のマオリ族の料理「HĀNGĪ」（ハンギ）にも挑戦します！
「HĀNGĪ」というのは、焼き石を利用したマオリ族の伝統的な料理法です。石を熱し、地面に掘った穴の中に入れて、その上にカゴに入れた野菜や肉を置いて蒸し焼きにします。
ニュージーランドでは、マオリ族の新年、「マタリキ」が今年6月20日に祝われます。この「マタリキ」では「HĀNGĪ」をする習慣があります。
食材を熱している間はバーベキューをしながら、ダニエルさんからニュージーランドやマオリの文化について、いろいろ教えてもらいます。皆さん、楽しみにしてくださいね！

The ever-popular "Daniel's Day" by CIR Daniel of the Fukushima International Association! This time we are going to be having a BBQ while learning about New Zealand traditional culture!
We will also try to lay down a hāngī!
What is a “hāngī” you ask? A hāngī is a traditional Māori cooking method whereby stones are heated up and then put into a hole in the ground, then vegetables and meat that have been placed in a basket are put on top to cook.
The reason why we are doing a hāngī is because the Māori new year is to be officially celebrated on the 20th of June this year, and hāngī is a way that people celebrate
