Japanese Culture: Coming-of-Age Ceremony

In Japan, people turning 20 years old participate in Coming-of-Age ceremonies.

When you become 20 years old, you are considered an adult so you can officially drink alcohol and smoke. On the other hand, you will have other obligations such as paying taxes.

Depending on the country, the age of adulthood and how you are treated are different.

In your country, at what age are you considered an adult?
