If we have questions, can we directly come and visit the Help Desk?
Yes, please contact the Fukushima International Association (FIA) and make an appointment before you come in.

Is it possible to request interpretation services?
Yes, interpretation can be done at the FIA office or by using the trio-phone service. However, we do not provide an escort interpreting service.

What is the ‘Trio-Phone’ interpreting service?
The ‘Trio-Phone’ interpreting service involves a three-way conversation, compared to a normal conversation between two people. FIA uses this system for interpreting.

Is there a fee when using the interpreting services or when receiving help?
No, the services are free. However, you will be liable for the phone bill when receiving help over the phone.

You can use the service just by phoning 024-524-1316. Please then let the staff know that you would like to use this service.
