Help Desk for Foreign Residents (Free Service)
The Fukushima International Association offers a consultation service for foreign residents.
If you have any questions about Japanese language classes, finding a house, finding a job, getting health insurance, or what kind of documents you need to renew your status of residence, etc. please feel to give us a call.
We will direct you to organizations capable of resolving issues such as violence or child abuse.
Telephone interpretation services are also available for procedures, consultations or similar activities.
Confidentiality is assured, so please feel free to reach out to us.
Consultation and telephone interpretation services are free of charge. Telephone call charges are the responsibility of the individual.

After filling in the form, please send it to FIA by e-mail, mail or by bringing it to the office. We also accept applications via Google Forms. |

Free phone interpreting service
The Help Desk for Foreign Residents offers the “Trio-Phone” service, a free phone interpreting service.
This service is available for foreign residents needing to consult a government office or institution and vice versa.
It is primarily used for procedures regarding address changes, pension/health insurance, tax certificate, child allowance, labor problems, etc. This service can also be used for schools, the police, the post office, etc.
The available languages and times are the same as the help desk times.
This interpreting service is free but phone charges will apply.
